At Connected Families Foundation, our mission is to keep children safe, supported, and connected with their families.
We work to prevent family separation, promote reunification, and strengthen the bonds between siblings groups, care givers and the child through compassionate, evidence-based support.
Guided by integrity, respect, and collaboration, we strive to heal the impacts of trauma, nurture healthy attachment, and empower families to thrive together—creating lasting change for generations to come.
Therapeutic Specialised Services
Our multidisciplinary team includes specialists in child protection, psychology, social work, occupational therapy, and counselling. By combining therapeutic support with practical case management, we offer a holistic approach that supports both emotional wellbeing and positive family change.
Family Intervention Service
The Connected Families Foundation delivers an intensive Family Intervention Service (FIS) for families involved in the child protection system. Our service supports families facing complex challenges such as trauma, mental health concerns, family violence, substance use, parenting difficulties, and housing instability.
Expectant Mothers Support
The Connected Families Foundation provides specialised support for pregnant women experiencing vulnerability or at risk of child protection involvement. Our service helps expectant mothers build parenting confidence, enhance safety, and establish strong support networks to create positive beginnings for both mother and baby.
We offer personalised, in-home assistance that includes parenting education, preparation for birth and home-transition, emotional and therapeutic support, and connection to health and community services.
